Lake Nakuru National Park has been a safe haven for the black rhinos, making it one of the best parks in Kenya to have a close-up of these mammals, including pink flamingoes who flock to the lake with their colour. You start the day with an en-route game drive safari as you check out of Mara and head to Lake Nakuru with the expected arrival time just around mid-morning. This will allow you some great time to explore the lake. Head to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Have a little rest then we head back to the park for another game drive. There's so much to explore other than the pink flamingoes and rhinos. Other major highlights of this park are the tree-climbing lions and excellent bird population among other sightings. In the evening, you shall head back to the lodge for dinner and accommodation.
