This is a 3-day safari at two of Kenya’s most famous parks for elephants—Tsavo West and Amboseli. Tsavo West is immense and its great plains are filled with herds of elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo and rhinos. No other park in Kenya features as many elephants as Amboseli. Set against the backdrop of world-famous Kilimanjaro, sunsets here are spectacular. The Amboseli National Park lies on the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest mountain.

1Explore red covered elephants in Tsavo West National Park
You'll be picked up at Nairobi and embark on your safari. From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of the under-parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows. Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world. The attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and diverse plants and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra reed warbler. After the game drive, you shall return to your lodge for an overnight stay and meals.

2Huge herds of elephants in Amboseli National Park
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. After the exhausting safari, you shall return to your lodge for meals and your accommodation.

Getting There
Tourists can visit these safari locations once in Kenya and can show up via air, land or ocean, however, flights are the most favoured mode of transport. Kenya is a huge nation and while you can go via vehicle on a safari circuit, getting between the various regions is better on a booked flight.
Kenya's main airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), located 15km/9mi southeast of Nairobi. Kenya's second international Airport is Moi International Airport (MBA), located 9km/6mi west of Mombasa, but aside from flights to Zanzibar, this is primarily used for domestic and charter flights.
From Nairobi or Mombasa, one can fly or drive between reserves, or opt to do a bit of both. Most domestic flights out of Nairobi depart from Wilson Airport (WIL), 6km/4mi south of Nairobi.
Yes, a transfer from and back to the airport is included
