  • Day 1 - Addis Ababa Fly Lalibela.

     We will arrive at Bole International Airport at 6:00 AM. From there, we will travel with our professional tour guide to Lalibela. Upon arrival at Lalibela Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in and refresh. Afterward,  you will start visiting The first group of churches in Lalibela includes some of the most famous rock-hewn structures, carved directly from solid volcanic rock in the 12th century. These churches, such as Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, and Bete Golgotha, showcase remarkable architectural skill and intricate carvings, reflecting Ethiopia’s rich Christian heritage. They are connected by a network of tunnels and trenches, creating a unique and spiritual atmosphere. Overnight Mezena Lodge

  • Day 2 - Lalibela Fly to Gondar

    Early in the morning, visit the second group of churches in Lalibela. Later, take a flight to Gondar and explore the Royal Enclosure (Gondar Castles) Often called the “Camelot of Africa,” the Royal Enclosure in Gondar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring magnificent 17th-century castles built by Emperor Fasilides and his successors   and the Debre Berhan Selassie Church Ethiopia’s most cherished churches. Built during the reign of Emperor Eyasu II, it represents the pinnacle of Ethiopian religious art and devotion. Overnight stay at Goha Hotel in Gondar

  • Day 3 - Gondar Drive Debark – Simein mounatin NP.

    Early in the morning, after breakfast, drive to Debark and complete all necessary permits and guide arrangements for Simien Mountains National Park. Then continue driving into the park to discover one of Ethiopia’s most spectacular landscapes and spot unique wildlife such as the Gelada baboon.Overnight camping in Debark

  • Day 4 - Sankaber drive Gondar Fly Bahir DAR

    Explore early morning to Jimmber River. Jinbar Waterfall, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of Simien Mountains National Park, is a must-visit attraction for nature lovers, trekkers, and photographers. Plunging an astonishing 530 meters, this waterfall is among the tallest in Africa, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as it crashes into the depths below. Later drive back to Gondar to fly in Bahir Dar, overnight Jacaranda Hotel

  • Day 5 - Full Day exploration Bule Nile River and Lake Tana Monasteri

    Begin your adventure in Bahir Dar with a boat trip on Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile. Cruise across the tranquil waters to the Zege Peninsula and explore the ancient monasteries of Ura Kidane Mihret and Azwa Mariam, famous for their vibrant murals and centuries-old treasures. Return to Bahir Dar for lunch by the lake, then travel to the stunning Blue Nile Falls, known locally as Tis Issat. Enjoy a scenic countryside drive and a short hike to admire the powerful cascade and surrounding views before heading back to Bahir Dar in the evening. Overnight jacaranda hotel.

  • Day 6 - Bahir DAR Fly Addis Ababa. And Addis City tour

    Take the morning flight to Addis Ababa and transfer to your hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon, begin a city tour of Addis Ababa, visiting the National Museum of Ethiopia to see the famous fossil of Lucy, explore the historic Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the city, and experience Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa.   • Day 7 - Addis Fly Semera airport- Ahmed Ela

    Upon arrival at Semera Airport, you will be met by our team and begin your journey towards Ahmed Ela. Along the way, enjoy the surreal landscape shaped by solidified lava flows, rock formations, sandy plains, and occasional palm-lined oases. You’ll pass through several small Afar villages and stop at Ahmed Ela village, home to over 500 people, where you’ll gain insight into the traditional lifestyle of the Afar community. In the evening, head to Lake Asale, a vast salt lake famous for its stunning sunset reflections. Enjoy a refreshing swim in a natural salt pool surrounded by breathtaking views. Overnight: Camping at Ahmed Ela

  • Day 8 - Dallol – Drive to Erta Ale

    After breakfast, drive to Ragad (Asebo), where you’ll witness the traditional salt mining process – Afar locals cutting salt blocks and loading them onto camel caravans. Then continue to Dallol, one of the hottest and most colorful places on Earth. Located 125 meters below sea level, Dallol is a geological wonderland with acidic hot springs, sulfuric mounds, and vibrant mineral formations.

    After lunch in Ahmed Ela, depart for Erta Ale, a remote shield volcano and home to one of the world’s only permanent lava lakes. After a scenic drive and evening trek to the crater rim, experience the mesmerizing glow and bubbling lava of Erta Ale under the night sky. Overnight: Camping near Erta Ale

  • Day 9 - Drive from Erta Ale – Lake Afdera – Semera – Fly to Addis Ab

    After an early breakfast, begin your return journey with a drive to Lake Afdera, a saline lake located in the Afar Depression and a key site for Ethiopia’s salt production. Here, saltwater is pumped into saltpans for solar evaporation – a fascinating process to observe. After lunch, continue driving to Semera Airport for your return flight to Addis Abeba. Overnight Check-in Hotel in Addis.

  • Day 10 - Addis Fly Jinka drive to Turmi,

    Fly to Jinka, where your guide and driver will meet you at the airport. After lunch, drive to Turmi, the homeland of the Hamar tribe. On the way, visit the Banna stick-fighting boys and explore a traditional Hamar village. Overnight stay Buska Lodge

  • Day 11 - to visit the Karo tribe and Dassanech people and Drive Jink


    Drive to Murulle to visit the Karo tribe, famous for their elaborate body paintings made with natural pigments such as white chalk. Their intricate designs and scarification marks reflect beauty, identity, and social status. After lunch, continue to Omorate, about 72 km from Turmi, and cross the Omo River by boat to visit the Dassanech tribe, also known as the “People of the Delta,” who live along the riverbanks and practice agro-pastoralism. On the return journey, visit the Mursi tribe before driving back to Jinka. Overnight stay at Eco Omo Lodge

Most of the visitors arrive at the Bole International Airport (ADD) in Addis Ababa. Usually, the Safari operator picks you up at the airport and takes care of any travel arrangements from there. If you are already in the region it’s possible to get in by land from Sudan, Kenya and Djibouti. It is best to stay away from the borders of South Sudan and Somalia. Drive-around tours are also available (especially in southern Ethiopia). Even when flying around, covering some distances by car can be very rewarding as you'll see some of the Ethiopian countrysides.
