  • Day 1 - Blue Skies Safari to Mikumi
    Zanzibar Island to Mikumi National Park-Zanzibar Island: Transfer from (confirm pick-up hotel) at 0400am to Zanzibar Airport for your Special Charter flight at 0600am to Mikumi National Park, which is an approximately 1-hour flight from Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival at the park around 7:00 a.m., meet and greet, then proceed with your picnic lunch and drinks, followed by game drives in Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth–largest National Park. Within its 3230 sq. km, it's set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, Zebras, Leopards, Crocodiles, Wildebeests, and Hippos, among others. Mikumi National Park provides an excellent opportunity to view a diverse number of animals and birds in a short period without too much driving around. Game drive in the park till late in the afternoon, then take your Special Charter flight at 0400pm to Zanzibar Island, arrive around 0500pm, then transfer to your hotel.
