After arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, your private guide will welcome you to Namibia. Begin your scenic drive north to Etosha National Park, passing rolling savannahs, picturesque farmland, and charming villages along the way.
Arrive at Okaukuejo Camp, your base for the next two nights, and settle into your accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided game drive within Etosha, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife at the park’s waterholes. Capture the stunning landscapes and get your first glimpse of Namibia’s incredible wildlife.

Spend a full day exploring Etosha National Park from your base at Okaukuejo Camp.
Start with a morning game drive, tracking lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other iconic wildlife across the park’s salt pans and savannahs. Pause at waterholes to observe animals up close and capture stunning photographs of Namibia’s diverse ecosystems.

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic journey south toward Sossusvlei, one of Namibia’s most iconic desert destinations. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the rolling hills around Windhoek to the striking red dunes and wide open plains of the Namib Desert.
Along the way, stop at small towns like Rehoboth and Solitaire for refreshments and photo opportunities before continuing through the rugged Naukluft Mountains. Arrive at your lodge near Sossusvlei in the late afternoon and unwind as you take in the desert’s breathtaking sunset views.

Continue to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where ancient camel thorn trees stand in striking contrast to the white clay pan and red dunes.
Later, visit Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved by the Tsauchab River over millions of years, offering fascinating geological formations. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon to relax and take in the tranquility of the desert.

Many people prefer self-drive because of Namibia's excellent roads and safety. In most cases, your local tour operator will arrange airport pickup and all additional transportation as part of the tour.
