  • Day 1 - Scenic Flight to Near Bwindi Impenetrable Park

    Today, your adventure begins early with a check-in at Entebbe International Airport from 6:00 AM for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour and 30-minute flight that lands at Kihihi Airport, followed by a short 50-minute drive to your lodge overlooking the lush Bwindi Forest. You’ll arrive in plenty of time to unwind and soak in the surroundings. Optional activities can be arranged upon arrival by your guide or the lodge at an additional cost for those seeking extra adventure.

  • Day 2 - Bwindi Gorilla Expedition

    Today is the highlight of your journey a dream come true! After a hearty breakfast, you’ll take a short 6-minute drive to the park headquarters, where your adventure begins with a traditional dance and an informative briefing. You’ll then be assigned to a group of eight, with families and trekkers carefully allocated to ensure an unforgettable experience.


    The trek through the forest depends on the location of your gorilla family and can last anywhere from 4 to 8 hours, filled with anticipation and breathtaking scenery. Once you reach the gorillas, you’ll have one magical hour to observe these gentle giants up close remember, wearing a face mask is mandatory for safety. After this extraordinary encounter, you’ll return to your lodge to relax and reflect on a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • Day 3 - Return Flight to Entebbe International Airport

    Today marks the final day of your adventure. After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a 50-minute drive to Kihihi Airport for your departure flight. The flight may include a stop in Kisoro before continuing directly to Entebbe International Airport, giving you one last chance to take in the stunning landscapes of Uganda before concluding your unforgettable journey.

Getting There

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
