With reliable wildlife sightings, it’s the perfect safari choice for travelers with limited time. Just two days or more are enough to immerse yourself in the beauty of Mikumi National Park, part of Tanzania’s stunning Southern Circuit. Here, vast grasslands teem with wildlife, including large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and the striking amarula and baobab trees. From bustling Dar es Salaam, the new SGR electric train now makes access easier than ever—taking only 90 minutes from the port city on the Indian Ocean to Morogoro town, followed by another 90-minute drive to the park gate.
