This 4 Days Double Gorilla Trekking tour in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park includes 2 days of ultimate mountain gorilla experience. This tour offers you an exciting adventure that allows you to experience two unique gorilla encounters in one trip. This typically involves visiting 2 different sectors of Bwindi that is Ruhija and Buhoma and visiting two different gorilla families, each with its unique dynamics and personalities as they feed, play and interact. Bwindi NP is also known for its dense, ancient rainforest and incredible biodiversity. The park spans approximately 331 square kilometers and is home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population, with around 459 individuals residing in the park. The park is also home to over 120 mammal species, including chimpanzees, forest elephants, and various primates, as well as over 350 bird species and 220 butterfly species. Bwindi also offers community experience opportunities to Batwa culture , also known as pygmies, who are one of the oldest indigenous communities in the Great Lakes region of Africa

- Day Day 1: - Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National ParkYou will be picked up from your hotel by your guide in the morning for your tour in Bwindi. It is a long journey so expect a long day’s drive. Along the journey we shall have a stopover at the Equator where you will be taking pictures or perform a water experiment. We shall have another stop over for some lunch before we embark on the drive to our final destination. We shall reach at the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

- Day Day 2: - Gorilla Trekking - Day 1 – Ruhija SectorEnjoy breakfast and after, drive towards the park offices for briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines. Allocation of gorilla families will also be done during briefing and you will begin your adventure as soon as you step foot to tropical forest of Bwindi. In the jungle, you will have a chance to encounter other animals and birds that stay in the forest. When you finally meet the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with them to learn and observe how they play, feed and interact with one another. After a close encounter with gorillas, a gorilla trekking certificate will be provided when you return from the forest. You will be picked by your guide, transfer to the lodge for lunch and after lunch, we shall drive to Buhoma sector.

- Day Day 3: - Gorilla Trekking - Day 2 – Buhoma SectorAfter a hefty breakfast, we shall go for briefing once again. You will be visiting a different family of mountain gorillas for another different experience. After being allocated a group, we shall start our journey into the forest to look for gorillas. We shall have an hour with them one we meet them. After trekking, your guide will pick you and transfer you to the lodge for lunch as we prepare for our journey to Lake Bunyonyi; a stunning spot in Southwestern Uganda a popular destination for relaxation, nature walks and cultural experiences. You can enjoy optional activities like canoe ride, zip lining among others.

- Day Day 4: - Transfer Back To EntebbeEnjoy an early morning cup of tea or coffee and prepare to check out and start the return trip as this day marks the end of our 4 Days Double Gorilla trekking safari. We shall have a long journeys drive and a stop for lunch.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
