Murchison Falls National Park is a home to 451 bird species, about 76 mammal species, 250 butterfly species, 450 tree species and home to the world's most powerful waterfall, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gorge and plunges 43 meters, creating a thunderous roar and stunning spray of water fall. The short tour includes day game drives to view the big African game lions, cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards, birds, antelopes, giraffes and visit to the top of Murchison Falls- the world’s strongest waterfalls, etc. En-route visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which offers a unique rhino trekking experience. You will get up close and personal with the majestic white rhinos on a guided 1-2 hour hike through the sanctuary's acacia woodlands and grasslands guided by expert trackers.   • Day Day 1: - Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park Via Ziwa Rhino Sa
    Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be picked and welcomed by your guide driver for this 3 days Murchison Falls National Park safari and later you will be briefed about your tour and what you should expect. You start the drive towards Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino walking safari. Depending on the time, we can have lunch in the sanctuary or in Masindi town. Proceed with our trip as we get ready for an evening safari. After the evening safari, we transfer to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

  • Day Day 2: - Morning Safari, Afternoon Boat Cruise & Hike To The Top Of
    After an early morning breakfast, we go for a game drive along the Northern trails taking 2-3 hours with an opportunity to view the sweeping savannah plains dotted with palm trees, plenty of wildlife including cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards, lions, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Kobs, warthogs, countless birds, to mention but a few. After the safari, we go for lunch as we get ready for a boat cruise taking you to the base of Murchison Falls, enjoy clear view of swimming hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birdlife and in addition, view the buffaloes and some antelopes as they roam on the river banks and others. At some point, you will get off the boat and be led by the ranger guide for a hike to the top of the falls as you enjoy the incredible views of the falls. You will be able to meet your tour guide there and transfer back to the lodge.

  • Day Day 3: - Morning Safari & Transfer Back To Entebbe
    Early rise, followed by a tasty cup of tea or coffee, after we drive back to the park for a safari for more chances of seeing the big cats in case we missed them on the previous day. After the safari we head back to Kampala or Entebbe as we come to the end of our 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park safari.

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
