This is a two days amazing Gorilla trekking trip that begins in Rwanda's "Land of a Thousand Hills" and ends in Uganda's "Pearl of Africa." Mountain gorillas, often known as our Cousins, are one of the world's most isolated primates and the largest primates. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, in the foot hills of the huge Virunga Mountain range, which stretches through the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda with more mountain gorillas to see while on gorilla trekking in Bwindi. It offers a wide range of lodging options, delectable cuisine, accessibility, security, and pleasant weather. Ranger guides will be on hand to help make a dream a reality as you journey into the dense tropical forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see mountain gorillas in the wild. A close encounter with mountain gorillas in their natural environment is one of kind experiences on this trip . For lucky trekkers, there are more than mountain gorillas to see while on gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park also shelters lots of bushbucks, l’ hoest monkeys, duikers, African golden cats, over 360 bird species and community visits.

  • Day Day 1: - Kigali City Tour, Depart To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Natio
    After arriving safely at Kigali international airport, you will be greeted by scenic rolling hills and our knowledgeable driver guide who will take you on a memorable safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda's south western region. After a short briefing, you will make a brief Kigali city tour, if time permits; you will visit the Genocide Memorial Site, which is home to almost 25000 victims of the Hutu-Tutsi ethnic strife. Proceed for lunch and then a 3 to 4 hour trip to any of Bwindi's four sectors with breath taking views of the rolling hills, lush foliage, dotted homesteads, and more. You will arrive at the park headquarters late in the evening for registration and then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day Day 2: - Gorilla Trekking Day & Transfer Back To Kigali
    This morning, you will have a drink of juice or African coffee before driving to the park headquarters for an early morning pre- trekking briefing with the skilled ranger guides. They will go over the dos and don'ts of trekking and assign you to a Gorilla trekking group. After meeting the gorilla family, you are allowed one hour as you watch their unique behaviors such as mom’s breastfeeding their young, the silverback's stance, and the games of the young stars. It's all good times deep in the jungle, with the cameras on high alert. You will then return to the lodge for refreshments and lunch before departing for Rwanda to Kigali airport. There will be a stopover at the border checkpoint for authorities to verify documents. You have the option of staying in Kigali for the night or flying to your next destination and this shall mark the end of The 2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari from Kigali.

Getting There

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
  • When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
