This forest is also known as 'the primate city' since it is home to variety of mammals, primates, wildlife and bird species such as chimpanzees, baboons, red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black & white colobus monkeys, forest elephants, bushbucks, African buffallo among others. Kibale National Park is a premier destination for chimpanzee tracking in Uganda, known for its lush tropical rainforest and diverse wildlife. This safari offers a Crater Lake experience in where we shall visit some of the crater lakes in the region and enjoy breathtaking scenic views of the stunning natural beauty, exciting activities, and unforgettable memories. We shall also have a cultural experience when we take a community walk which offers a unique opportunity to engage with local communities and learn about their culture and way of life. Finally we shall have a magical one hour with Chimpanzees as we trek in Kibale National Park. - Day Day 1: - Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park, Crater Lake Walk ExUpon arrival, your experienced guide will pick you and proceed for the journey to our destination; Kibale Forest National Park. Along the road trip to Kibale we shall go through villages and we can make a stop at a road side market to buy some fresh fruits and some stretching. We shall have lunch along the way; proceed to the crater lakes region before we head for check in at the lodge. We shall start our crater walk taking in beautiful scenery and sights of monkeys like black and white colobus monkey. After the walk we drive over to the lodge for an overnight.

- Day Day 2: - Chimpanzee Trekking Experience, Community WalkWe shall start our day with a hot cup of tea or coffee and prepare to drive out to the chimpanzee trekking starting point. At this spot, you are briefed about the rules of chimpanzee trekking. You are then divided into groups of eight with a special guide. Trekking through the jungle starts at this point as now you start your hike into the forest. In the forest you will spot birds, butterflies and some trees. When you reach the point where the chimpanzees are, you will be given one hour to spend with them; this is the moment we have been waiting for. After the trek in the forest your guide will pick you and take you back to the lodge. We shall have lunch and an afternoon relaxation at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, we shall head for a village walk in the community before we proceed to the lodge for our dinner and an overnight.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
