Tour Features

The journey unfolds in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where wide savannahs and rich wetlands come alive with wildlife. Elephants, buffaloes, and leopards roam the plains while hippos and crocodiles crowd the Kazinga Channel during a scenic boat cruise. Above, birds fill the skies with color and sound, and nearby forests shelter chimpanzees moving through the trees. It is a brief but powerful story of Africa’s wild beauty in one of its most biodiverse parks.

The day begins with an early morning game drive across the open plains, where the park slowly comes alive with wildlife. Expect to encounter a wide range of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, and big cats such as lions and leopards. In quieter corners, hyenas and warthogs often appear along the tracks as you explore deeper into the park. The wetlands and open savannah also attract a rich variety of birdlife, with storks and other water birds gathering in seasonal areas, while distant salt lakes may reveal flocks of flamingos.

Later, the experience continues with a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a 36-kilometre waterway linking Lake George and Lake Edward. From the water, you’ll witness hippos surfacing and yawning in large pods, Nile crocodiles resting along the banks, and warthogs moving through the shoreline grass. Elephants are often seen gathering to drink and bathe at the water’s edge, while birdlife thrives all around you. With binoculars in hand, the channel opens up a remarkable view of wildlife living in perfect rhythm between land and water.
