Tour Features

Join Gnade Safaris on a memorable Tanzania Safari from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, perfect for travelers who want to experience the thrill of the African wilderness in just two days. This short yet captivating safari takes you from the bustling city of Dar es Salaam to the serene plains of Mikumi National Park, where wildlife encounters are nearly guaranteed. Located approximately 300 km (185 miles) west of Dar es Salaam, Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and part of the southern safari circuit. It’s often called a “mini Serengeti” because of its wide-open floodplains filled with elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and over 300 species of birds. This 2-day Tanzania safari is ideal for travelers on business trips, residents seeking a quick escape, or visitors with limited time who still want to experience authentic African wildlife.

Our 2-day safari from Zanzibar with Gnade Safaris was absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfectly organized — from the flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, the comfortable vehicle, and the warm welcome by our guide, Issack. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the parks, and his passion made the trip unforgettable. We visited Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw elephants, lions, zebras, and even rhinos! The accommodation was cozy, the food was delicious, and the overall service was top-notch. Gnade Safaris made everything smooth and stress-free — I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Tanzania!
