Fuel up with a delicious breakfast before setting off on a scenic drive westward, passing coffee plantations and Maasai homesteads, en route to Lake Manyara National Park. Tucked against the Great Rift Valley wall, this park is a living canvas of contrasts—thick groundwater forests, soda lakes glowing pink with flamingos, and vast floodplains where elephants roam freely.
In the acacia woodlands, keep your camera ready: Lake Manyara is famed for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging on branches like leopards. An afternoon game drive reveals more—hippos wallowing in the lake, troops of baboons playing near the road, and giraffes parading across the savannah.
