- Day 1 - Fly from Addis Ababa to Gondar and Drive to Simien Mountain
After your arrival in Gondar, you’ll drive to the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its dramatic landscapes. On the way, you'll visit the famous Chilada Baboon and enjoy watching these curious primates in their natural habitat. The day ends with an introduction to the park’s stunning scenery, including rugged cliffs, deep valleys, and jagged peaks. Overnight Camping

- Day 2 - Drive to Sankaber or Gich and Visit Walia Ibex and Wildlife
Today, you'll head towards Sankaber or Gich, where you'll explore the spectacular views of the mountains and encounter the Walia Ibex, an endemic wild goat species. You’ll also have the chance to spot other wildlife, such as the Ethiopian wolf and various bird species. As you explore, enjoy the serene environment, with dramatic ridges and high-altitude flora. - Day 3 - Drive from Gich to Chennek, Visit Bird Species, and Return t
After breakfast, you’ll drive from Gich to Chennek, where you can observe more endemic species, such as the Ethiopian bush-crow and Bearded Vulture. The region offers unparalleled views of the Simien Mountain peaks and provides excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Ethiopia, situated in the famous Horn of Africa, is known as both the Land of Origins and the Land of a Thousand Smiles. Most of the visitors arrive at the Bole International Airport (ADD) in Addis Ababa. Usually, the Safari operator picks you up at the airport and takes care of any travel arrangements from there. If you are already in the region it’s possible to get in by land from Sudan, Kenya and Djibouti. It is best to stay away from the borders of South Sudan and Somalia. Drive-around tours are also available (especially in southern Ethiopia). Even when flying around, covering some distances by car can be very rewarding as you'll see some of the Ethiopian countrysides.

- When arriving from a country in Africa or the Americas where yellow fever is present, a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
