Ol Doinyo Lengai is a unique volcano located in the Lake Natron area in northern Tanzania,. The name "Lengai" means "Mountain of God" in the Maasai language, and it is considered a sacred site in their culture. The volcano is known for its unusual volcanic activity, with a distinctive effusion of natrocarbonatite lava, which is different from the typical basaltic lava found in most other volcanoes.
