Tour Features

This 6-day adventure allows visitors to experience some of Tanzania’s and Africa’s most stunning national parks. The world-renowned Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater offer spectacular and diverse landscapes where guests may have the chance to see the array of the country’s flora and fauna—from the unforgettable Great Migration to the iconic Big Five (lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants), hundreds of bird varieties and countless other wildlife species. The trip also provides the chance for cultural immersion with a day trip to a typical Maasai boma where guests will learn about the traditional Maasai lifestyle. This focus on cultural authenticity is also part of the bean-to-cup coffee tour which takes visitors into the traditional practice of coffee preparation. The tour also includes a hike to Materuni waterfall, the tallest in northern Tanzania, and a trip to Chemka Hot Spring where guests can enjoy a swim to mark the end of their tour.

Getting There

Tanzania is a beautiful East African country with neighbours Kenya to the north and Mozambique to the south and the Indian Ocean to the east. It is known for its vibrant culture, wonderful national parks, diverse fauna and flora and of course the great wildebeest migration. If you are planning a safari trip to Tanzania then you should find out all about flights to Tanzania, passport and visa requirements.
Tanzania’s main airport is Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) located 13km/8mi southwest of Dar es Salaam. The latter is the entry point for visitors to the southern parks.
Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is situated 46km/29mi east of Arusha, the gateway of Tanzania’s most popular Northern safari circuit.

This tour starts in Arusha and ends in Arusha, Tanzania

A transfer from and back to the airport is included

Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost
