Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest park in Tanzania covering an area of 3,230 sq kms (1,225 sq miles). It lies to the west of Dar es Salaam and is easily accessed from the city being on the main Mororgoro and Iringa road and is an easy 4 hour drive from Dar es Salaam. The main road runs through the park.

- Day - Day ActivityA day trip tour to Mikumi National Park from Dar-Es-Salaam offers a chance to see diverse wildlife like elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat, you'll be picked up at the hotel around 5:00 AM, and drive to Mikumi (4-5 hours) on arrival you'll begin your game drive, in the midday get your lunch within the park and continue with the game drive. In the late afternoon, you'll begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening, that's makes an end of our tour.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
