- Day 1 - Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
After breakfast, meet your mountain guide for a comprehensive briefing before driving from Arusha or Moshi to Londorossi Gate on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Following registration formalities, continue by 4WD vehicle to the Lemosho trailhead where your trek begins. The trail winds through lush montane rainforest, home to towering trees, colorful birds, and Colobus monkeys. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree Camp) in the afternoon, where your mountain crew will have your camp prepared. Enjoy a freshly cooked dinner and your first night under the African sky.

After breakfast, continue your ascent through the rainforest before entering the giant heather and moorland zone. As the vegetation changes, enjoy increasingly spectacular views across the Shira Plateau and surrounding wilderness. Today's steady climb allows your body to begin acclimatizing while you enjoy one of Kilimanjaro's most scenic sections.

- Day 3 - Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Today's hike is relatively gentle as you cross the magnificent Shira Plateau, one of the highest plateaus on earth. This shorter trekking day is designed to improve acclimatization while allowing time to enjoy breathtaking scenery, unique alpine vegetation, and panoramic views of Kibo Peak. Your guide may also lead an optional acclimatization walk in the afternoon.

- Day 4 - Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Today's trek follows the principle of "climb high, sleep low," an important acclimatization technique. Ascend to the impressive Lava Tower at approximately 4,600 metres, where you will enjoy lunch surrounded by dramatic volcanic landscapes. Afterwards, descend to the beautiful Barranco Camp, located beneath the towering Barranco Wall. This day significantly improves your body's adaptation to the altitude while offering some of the most spectacular scenery on the mountain.

- Day 5 - Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
After breakfast, tackle the famous Barranco Wall, one of the highlights of the Lemosho Route. Although steep in places, the climb is non-technical and rewards you with incredible views over the surrounding valleys and glaciers. Continue through alpine terrain to Karanga Camp, where you will have time to rest and further acclimatize before the summit attempt.

Today's hike is relatively short but important as you make your way to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit. The landscape becomes increasingly barren as you enter the alpine desert. After lunch, spend the afternoon resting, hydrating, and preparing your equipment before an early dinner and a few hours of sleep ahead of the midnight summit attempt.

After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.
