  • Day 1 - Marangu Gate to Horombo Hut

    After breakfast, depart from your hotel and drive to Marangu Gate for registration before continuing to Kilema Gate, where your cycling adventure begins. Ride through beautiful rainforest and moorland, enjoying spectacular scenery as you gradually climb to Horombo Hut. This stage is almost entirely by mountain bike and offers an exciting introduction to Kilimanjaro's diverse landscapes.

  • Day 2 - Horombo Hut Acclimatization Ride

    Today's ride is dedicated to acclimatization, an important part of preparing for higher altitudes. Cycle towards Mawenzi Hut through alpine desert terrain before returning to Horombo Hut for the night. This ride helps your body adjust while providing magnificent views of Mawenzi Peak.

  • Day 3 - Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

    After breakfast, continue your ascent towards Kibo Hut. Much of today's route follows rocky alpine desert trails, with most sections remaining rideable. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the summit attempt.

  • Day 4 - Summit Attempt – Uhuru Peak – Return to Horombo Hut

    Wake before dawn and begin the challenging climb towards Gilman's Point. Higher on the mountain, you'll reunite with your bicycle and ride the final permitted sections towards Uhuru Peak before celebrating your achievement at Africa's highest point. After taking photographs, descend to Kibo Hut for lunch before continuing your ride back to Horombo Hut for a well-earned rest.

  • Day 5 - Horombo Hut to Kilema Gate
