  • Day 1 - Arusha to Miriakamba Hut

    After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. Complete registration before beginning your trek accompanied by an armed ranger. Today's trail passes through beautiful forest where you may encounter giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, and a variety of birdlife. Continue past the Ngarenanyuki River and a scenic waterfall before arriving at Miriakamba Hut, where a hot meal awaits.

    Hiking Time: 5–7 Hours

  • Day 2 - Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

    After breakfast, continue climbing through forest and heathland along the ridge toward Saddle Hut. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru Crater and the Ash Cone. Upon arrival, you may take an optional acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 m) before returning for an early dinner and rest in preparation for the summit attempt.

    Hiking Time: 3–5 Hours

  • Day 3 - Summit Socialist Peak – Return to Miriakamba Hut

    Shortly after midnight, begin your ascent toward Socialist Peak (4,566 m). Pass Rhino Point and Cobra Point before reaching the summit at sunrise, where you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Meru Crater, and the surrounding plains. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Saddle Hut for a short break before continuing to Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.

    Hiking Time: 10–12 Hours

  • Day 4 - Miriakamba Hut to Arusha

    Following breakfast, descend through lush forest back to Momella Gate. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the trail before meeting your driver for the return transfer to Arusha, marking the end of your Mount Meru adventure.
