  • Day 1 - Arrive kigali and transfer to volcanoes national park
    On arrival at Kigali international airport,your guide will be waiting to meet you this early morning,he will meet greet and welcome you to the land of “ a thousand hills” as popularly referred,he will then take you for a COVID test at an extra fee and later start the journey to your hotel at Volcanoes National park where you will relax and spend an overnight at Da Vinci gorilla lodge .

  • Day 2 - Diane fossey hike and transfer to Bwindi
    Waking up early and drive to the park offices,you will meet other travelers and ready to go for the same activity and rangers will brief you about the activity and you will start the journey into the wild,you will walke through the bamboo zone and you may see golden monkeys on the way reach at the point where Diane fossey grave lies next to the gorilla she loved,you will then learn the history of this tragic incident which brings lots of tears to conservationists, return to meet your guide who will then transfer you to the Rwanda Uganda boarder and cross into Uganda where you will arrive Bwindi this evening ready for your dinner and overnight,this is a place where you will enjoy the great views ,you will stay at Ihamba residence

  • Day 3 - Gorilla trekking and relax
    Waking up this morning as per the briefing from your guide,you will have an early morning breakfast and packed lunch,start the drive to Ruhija park offices where you will meet other travelers on the same mission,you will be divided in groups of 8 and your ranger guide will brief you about what you’re meant to do in the park and after start the gorilla trek which may take 2-6 hours,return meet your guide and transfer to your place where you will relax from.

  • Day 4 - Batwa cultural experience and relax
    Waking up to the breathtaking scenic views of the impenetrable forest of Bwindi,you will take your time and habe breakfast at 8am at the platform that offers you great views,once you complete your breakfast follows will be a drive down to the remote village to meet the Batwa who are the indigenous tribe of people who lived initially in the jungles of Bwindi,they will tell us how they use to live a life in the jungles and caves,how they fought with different wildlife including gorillas,their demonstration will last about 2-3 hours and later return back to our lodge for lunch and relaxed evening dinner and overnight

  • Day 5 - Gorilla trekking and relax
    Waking up this morning,drive to the park headquarters for briefing where you will meet other travelers and be briefed together and later depart for the second gorilla trekking experience,spend about 2-6 hours return to meet your guide and after start the drive of about 2.5 hours to lake bunyonyi where you will arrive this evening and relax,unwind for dinner and over night stay at Arcadia lodges .

  • Day 6 - Relaxed morning and afternoon boat cruise
    Waking up to have breakfast at 8am facing another unbelievably lake views from your room,you will catch your breakfast and have a chance to walk around the lodge and see the magical views,you have a relaxed morning lazying around the lodge and after lunch your guide will transfer you to the jetty where you will catch an afternoon boat cruise to learn about this lake deriving it’s name from the little birds that inhabit the lake as referred in the local dialect,you will spend an evening here,you will also visit a number of islands in the 29 including the famous punishment island where girls who got pregnant before marriage were dropped ,later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 7 - Transfer to Kigali and do city tour
    This morning you will wake up to have your breakfast and your guide will brief you on depature time,you will then start the journey to Kigali and on arrival you will do the Kigali city tour where you will visit places like the Kigali genocide memorial where they remember the people who died during the war in 1995,you will also see how clean and beautiful this little city is and later transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Hotel Mille collines Kigali.

  • Day 8 - Transfer to Kigali airport for flight back home
    Depending on the timing of your flight,if it will be in the after you will instead do the city tour today but if it is early morning we do the city tour the previous day and after drive you to the Kigali airport for your flight back home. End of tour:

Kigali International Airport (KGL), on the outskirts of Kigali, would most likely be your point of entry point into the country. There are currently no direct flights from any North American city to Kigali. All require at least one stop, with most major cities, including New York, Toronto, Sao Paolo and Montreal only requiring one stop. Direct flights are available from Amsterdam and Brussels. There are also direct flights on Turkish Airlines, from Istanbul, and from Dubai on Rwanda Air. There are no direct flights from Doha and Qatar. Flights from major cities in Asia, such as Hong Kong and Singapore, also require one stop. Flights from Sydney, Australia presently require two stops.

Rwanda is quite tiny, and most people travel inside the country by car. Rwanda's speed limit is 60 kilometres per hour on all roads. Akagera Aviation, on the other hand, provides charter helicopter transfers to and from any place in the country.

  • When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • As of January 2018, citizens of all countries are now eligible for visas on arrival at US$30 for 30 days. More details at www.migration.gov.rw
  • For people visiting Rwanda in conjunction with Kenya and/or Uganda, it is possible to buy a joint visa for all three countries with advance application. See www.migration.gov.rw for details.
