- Day Day 1 - You arrive in Lusaka, the capital city of ZambiaNarration: You will arrive in Lusaka, the capital city and business centre of Zambia. Lusaka is one of Africa’s most delightful cities. It is a metropolitan area that offers traditional and hearty Zambian welcome to all visitors. Notes: Please make your own hotel/accommodation arrangements on your first day of arrival. Recommendation: However, we recommend that you stay at StayEasy Hotel in Lusaka because this is the official starting point of the tour. Narration about the StayEasy Hotel: Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, bar, garden and free WiFi, StayEasy Lusaka Hotel is located about 100 m from Levy Shopping Mall and 1.9 km from Lusaka National Museum. The rooms at the hotel come with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. At StayEasy Lusaka rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. FINE DINING EXPERIENCE You will enjoy fresh mouth-watering breakfast in the hotel's restaurant in the morning. For any other meals, you can check on a number of multi-cuisine restaurants within the Levy Mall shopping mall. Notes: There are no planned activities on the day of arrival in Lusaka. So you will check-in the hotel and relax or visit Lusaka city if you arrive early in the day. In the evening we will have a ‘meet and greet session’ in the lounge where you will meet your fellow travelers. Your insurance documentation will be collected from you and safely stored away. Activities start on the following second day early in the morning which is the day of travel to Lower Zambezi valley via Chirundu. Your tour director will collect your insurance and next of kin details at this meeting, so please make sure you arrange a flight that will deliver you in Zambia in time.

- Day Day 2 - Lusaka to Chirundu en route to Lower ZambeziThis is the day you will travel by road from Lusaka to Chirundu, a distance of about 90 km. This route is an important commercial artery route that crosses the Zambian border and goes to Harare, Zimbabwe. So at most this road is always kept in good repair condition. At Chirundu town, you will take your lunch before proceeding on the off-road to the Lower Zambezi valley. Arrival in the Lower Zambezi valley Upon arriving in the Lower Zambezi valley, you will check-in at Lodge/camp site Depending on the time you will arrive at the Lodge/campsite in the Lower Zambezi, you will do one activity. This will be most likely the sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Otherwise, the trip leader will propose any other exciting activity for you. 18:00 pm - Evening relaxation 19:30 pm – Dinner. 21:30 pm – Early sleep

- Day Day 3 - FULL Game Viewing in the Lower ZambeziProgram of the day 05:10 am: Wakeup; thereafter take bath. 05:20 am – 05: 45 am - Morning breakfast. 05:45 am – 05:55 am - Receive short briefing by the Tour Director on some pertinent facts such as personal safety, required eco-tour practices and some important country information and social etiquette. 06:00 am: We shall leave for the full day game cruise on the Lower Zambezi National Park. Enjoy the morning and afternoon scheduled game activities that will be explored by both canoe/boat and game drive vehicle. Temperatures can reach up to 38°C (100°F) or higher are quite common in the lower Zambezi valley. It’s prominent feature are aisles of massive albida or winter-thorn trees (Faidherbia albida) which are foraged mostly by elephants. . The apple ring acacia keeps the elephant herds alive during the fierce October-November dry season. These handsome trees paint a unique picturesque landscape which this park is famous for. The Zambezi river basins provides the much needed relief from the scotching valley heat for a variety of wild animals for a frequent drink of water to cool off. Therefore, the game cruise will give you an exciting opportunity to view a variety of wild animals notably Hippos, Buffaloes and Elephants among other many animals. We will make many stops on the river whilst you continue enjoying viewing animals both on land and on the river. Lunch and refreshments will be provided whilst on this exciting tour.

- Day Day 4 - Leave lower Zambezi national park for Mana Pools in ZimbabweMana Pools park in Zimbabwe is locally famous as a place where crowds are unknown, where walking safaris are preferred and where elephants rule the wilderness as well as in camp sites. The park also provides excellent sightings of large herds of Buffalos, Elands, Zebras, Baboons and Waterbuck are also regularly seen in the area. The game is very relaxed about people on foot, making Manapools one of Africa’s best national parks for walking safaris. 05:10 am: Wakeup; thereafter take bath. 05:20 am – 05: 45 am – Last sumptuous morning breakfast . 06:00 am: Check-out from Mukuyu campsite and commence on the second phase of this exciting tour to Mana Pools park the Jewel of Zimbabwe. From Lower Zambezi National Park, we will drive to Chirundu. Main Destination: From Chirundu, you will be transferred to Nyamepi campsite in ManaPools National Park by overland transport via Chirundu border. Activities: Upon arrival, you will relax and view some resident animals around Nyamepi campsite. Evening: You will take your dinner and retire to bed.

- Day Day 5 - Activities in Mana Pools National ParkMain Destination: Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe) On this day, you will spend it sparcely viewing Wildlife in Mana Pools National Park. Some of the animals you will see are: o Elephant o Buffalo o Zebra o Hippo o Hyena o Lion Meals & Drinks: All meals included (alcoholic drinks are excluded) Narration You will experience a pure African wilderness in solitary in Manapools National Park which is rated the 5th best park in Africa. Armchair safari, where you can have great wildlife viewing opportunities from camp. Enjoy morning and afternoon activities, including game drives activities. The camp’s close proximity to water means plenty wildlife at close range to view. It is here that you can experience an ‘armchair safari’ where often the best wildlife viewing is experienced while you are relaxing in camp. Highlights of Activities The following are some of the main activities that you will undertake in Mana Pools National Park, should conditions and weather patterns permit. IBA – Important Bird Area Manapools National Park is also an important Bird Area (IBA) with more than 350 bird species. Its banks flutter with Goliath herons, Egyptian and Spurwing geese, cormorants, storks, brilliantly coloured bee-eaters, and kingfishers. Getting There
Zambia's main airport is Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN), found 14km from the capital, Lusaka. From Lusaka, you can fly or drive between reserves. When your safari is joined with a visit to Victoria Falls, you will undoubtedly fly in or out of Livingstone Airport (LVI), right outside of Livingstone and near the falls. In most cases, your local tour administrator will orchestrate pick-up from the airport and arrange further transportation as a feature of your safari package.

- Passports must have minimum of three blank pages
- Citizens from most nationalities do not require a visa and will get a 30-day entry permit on arrival.
- When arriving from a country in Africa or the Americas where yellow fever is present, a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- If you are visiting Zambia and Zimbabwe, there is a joint visa for both countries available at all major ports of entry into Zambia and Zimbabwe.
