The Savuti marsh in particular offers some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa year round. It is best known for its predators, particularly lion, cheetah and hyena, of which there are large resident populations. The Savute Marsh is the deepest part of the MababeThe Savuti channel has a fascinating history of flooding and drying up independently of good, rainy seasons and flood levels elsewhere, a mystery that has intrigued Geologists for many years.
