Arrival A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost. Wake up early in the morning by 0500am pickup is from the hotel reception. We depart to Makgadikgadi National Park when the seasonal rains come, the vast grasslands attract grazers in numbers and consequently, these attract an impressive range of predators The Makgadikgadi pans contain many important prehistoric sites and fossil lakes which have yielded some interesting archaeological finds. During our visit here we will take a full day to explore this beautiful wildlife area. Makgadikgadi Pans is a relatively undiscovered part of Botswana that offers some of the best wildlife viewing. Spend the day game viewing with our knowledgeable guides, enjoy drinks and a tasty lunch before returning to Maun. After lunch we take a slow game drive out of the park where you will see a lot of animals arriving in Maun at 1730hours.

For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
