Tour Features

If you're looking to experience Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations without spending a week on the road, this safari strikes the balance beautifully. In just four days, you'll explore the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of Kenya's best places to spot rhinos and birdlife, before heading south to the legendary Maasai Mara, where vast grasslands stretch to the horizon and wildlife roams freely. Travel in a comfortable 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser with an experienced guide who knows where to look when the action begins. Watch giraffes browsing acacia trees, elephants crossing the plains, and lions resting in the shade after an early morning hunt. Depending on the season, you may even witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of Africa's most remarkable natural events. Alongside the wildlife encounters, you'll visit a traditional Maasai village for a glimpse into one of East Africa's most celebrated cultures. With comfortable accommodation, full-board meals, and carefully planned game drives, this safari offers a rewarding introduction to Kenya's wild side.

  • Day 1 - Rift Valley Views & Rhinos of Lake Nakuru

Leaving Nairobi in the morning, the journey begins with a drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. A stop at one of the viewpoints offers the perfect opportunity to admire the escarpments and photograph the sweeping scenery below before continuing towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arriving in time for lunch, you'll settle into your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its thriving rhino population and is one of the best places in Kenya to spot both black and white rhinos in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and, if luck is on your side, the elusive leopard. As the afternoon light softens over the lake, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

  • Day 2 - From Lake Nakuru to the Legendary Maasai Mara

After breakfast, the journey continues through Kenya's scenic countryside, passing rolling farmlands, small market towns, and traditional Maasai homesteads. The drive offers a fascinating glimpse into rural Kenya before arriving at the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Following lunch and some time to settle in, venture out on your first game drive in the Mara. The reserve is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, and countless antelope species. As the golden evening light spreads across the plains, the landscape comes alive with activity, creating the perfect introduction to one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.

  • Day 3 - Big Cats, Open Plains & Maasai Traditions

The Mara is at its best in the early morning hours. After breakfast, set off for a full day of exploration across the reserve's vast grasslands and river systems. Wildlife sightings are often spectacular, with elephant herds moving through the marshes, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and predators patrolling their territories.

Between July and October, the reserve hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration, when vast herds of wildebeests and zebras move between Tanzania's Serengeti and Kenya's Maasai Mara in search of fresh grazing. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, every game drive presents a new story unfolding in the bush.

Later in the day, visit a traditional Maasai village where members of the community share their customs, history, and way of life. Learn about their deep connection to the land while enjoying traditional songs, dances, and cultural demonstrations before returning to camp for your final evening in the wilderness.
