Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Norine Forbes Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey and preparing for your exciting Kenya safari adventure.

- Day 2 - Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve – Into Kenya's Northern
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel north through Kenya's scenic highlands towards Samburu National Reserve. Located along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu offers a unique safari experience unlike any other in Kenya.
Arrive in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in search of the famous Samburu Special Five – the Grevy's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, and Gerenuk. The reserve is also home to elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Most domestic flights out of Nairobi depart from Wilson Airport (WIL), 6km/4mi south of Nairobi.
