- Day Day 1: - Entebbe – Lake Bunyonyi
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Entebbe for a scenic journey to southwestern Uganda. Along the way, enjoy a photo stop at the Equator in Kayabwe and a lunch break in Mbarara or Kabale. You’ll arrive at the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi in the evening, where you can relax by the lakeside and take in the views of the terraced hills and islands.
Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp or similar.

- Day Day 2: - Lake Bunyonyi – Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This day can be used for optional activities such as canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi, visiting a local Batwa community, or simply relaxing before your active trekking days.
Overnight at Traveler’s Rest Hotel or similar near Mgahinga.

- Day Day 3: - Golden Monkey Trekking – Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, head to the Ntebeko Visitor Center for your golden monkey trekking experience. Led by a ranger guide, you’ll hike into the bamboo forests of the Virunga Volcanoes in search of these lively and endangered primates. Spend an hour observing them before returning to your lodge for lunch and rest. Overnight at Traveler’s Rest Hotel or similar.

- Day Day 4: - Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Kigali (Rwanda)
Start the day early with breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by a ranger, you’ll trek through the forest to find one of the habituated mountain gorilla families. Once found, you’ll have one magical hour to observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek, meet your driver and begin your cross-border journey to Kigali, Rwanda, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. End of Safari

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
