- Day Day 1: - Entebbe - Shoebill Trek, Equator Line & Jinja
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your Entebbe hotel for the transfer to Nakiwogo, where you’ll meet your professional birding guide. Enjoy a serene canoe ride through Mabamba Swamp, home to the rare Shoebill Stork and a variety of other wetland bird species. After birdwatching, rejoin your driver at the Mabamba Ramsar site and continue your journey to Kayabwe, the location of the iconic Equator Line. Here, you’ll have a chance to take memorable photos while standing in both hemispheres and learn about the Earth’s rotation experiment. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital. Upon arrival, check in at 2 Friends Guesthouse or a similar lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day Day 2: - Whitewater Rafting on the Nile & Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, transfer to the River Nile for an exciting whitewater rafting adventure. Whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced rafter, professional guides will ensure a safe yet exhilarating experience as you navigate through the roaring rapids and calm scenic sections of the Nile. A riverside barbecue lunch will be provided midway, allowing you to relax and take in the spectacular river views. In the afternoon, begin your transfer back to Entebbe, with drop-off either at your hotel. This marks the end of your memorable 2-day Ugandan adventure filled with nature, culture, and adrenaline.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
