- Day 1 - Travel to Volcanoes N/Park in Musanze
Leave Kigali airport after a warm welcome and briefing then drive to the Northwest where Volcanoes National Park is located. First, you have Kigali city tour and Kigali genocide centre, local markets, craft shops will be some of the areas of interest to explore. Have lunch in one of the best hotels Kigali has and head to straight to your next destination, which is Volcanoes National Park.

- Day 2 - Gorilla trekking in Parc National des Volcans & visit
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and after, join others for briefing at Kinigi offices of Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. You will be assigned to any of the 13 habituated gorilla family groups, an armed park guide and by 8:00am, the actual trekking begins taking you close to 2-6 hours depending on your speed. On getting a family of mountain gorillas that you have been searching for a while, the park guide will allow you to have only 1 hour with these primates. As soon as you get done taking photos and observing mountain gorillas during the 1 hour, next is to return to the lodge to refresh, enjoy lunch if you never had. End your day with cultural expedition in Iby’Iwacu Village.

- Day 3 - Golden monkey tracking & chill at Lake Kivu shores in
Breakfast be enjoyed at your lodge and after, briefing at Kinigi but today the Parc National des Volcans official takes you through golden monkey tracking etiquette. You will be escorted to look for golden monkeys around the bamboo forest starting at 8:00am and you return after 1 hour of face to face encounter. Retreat from the jungles after your interaction and later have evening relaxation along Lake Kivu shores.

- Day 4 - Boat trip on Lake Kivu & depart for Kigali. Departure
A delicious breakfast and later, you have an exciting boat tour along Lake Kivu before setting off back to Kigali. Around Lake Kivu, lunch will be enjoyed in one of the best hotels and then drive back to Kigali capital of Rwanda to catch your departure flight. End of 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Safari.

Getting There
Kigali International Airport (KGL), on the outskirts of Kigali, would most likely be your point of entry point into the country. There are currently no direct flights from any North American city to Kigali. All require at least one stop, with most major cities, including New York, Toronto, Sao Paolo and Montreal only requiring one stop. Direct flights are available from Amsterdam and Brussels. There are also direct flights on Turkish Airlines, from Istanbul, and from Dubai on Rwanda Air. There are no direct flights from Doha and Qatar. Flights from major cities in Asia, such as Hong Kong and Singapore, also require one stop. Flights from Sydney, Australia presently require two stops.
Rwanda is quite tiny, and most people travel inside the country by car. Rwanda's speed limit is 60 kilometres per hour on all roads. Akagera Aviation, on the other hand, provides charter helicopter transfers to and from any place in the country.

- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.

- For people visiting Rwanda in conjunction with Kenya and/or Uganda, it is possible to buy a joint visa for all three countries with advance application. See www.migration.gov.rw for details.
