  • Day 1 - Dar-es-salaam - Nyerere National Park (Selous GR) - Evening
    Drive from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park (fSelous Game Reserve), approximately 5 to 6 hours drive, passing through scenic rural landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll check in at your Ngalawa Camp and enjoy your hot lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of Africa’s largest rivers. This relaxing yet thrilling experience offers close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of birds such as kingfishers and fish eagles. The river’s stunning scenery, especially at sunset, provides a magical start to your safari. Overnight at Selous Ngalawa Camp (Meal Plans: Lunch & Dinner).

  • Day 2 - Nyerere National Park - A full day game drive
    After your hot breakfast, go for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most untouched wilderness areas. The park’s diverse landscape ranging from miombo woodlands and open savannahs to swamps and lakes supports a wide variety of wildlife. As you explore the vast terrain with your experienced guide, you’ll have the chance to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, impalas, wildebeests, and possibly predators like lions, leopards, and the elusive African wild dogs, the park is also rich in birdlife, with over 440 recorded species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated spot inside the park, and continue with the game drives till sunset. Overnight at Selous Ngalawa Camp (Meal Plans: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

  • Day 3 - Mikumi National Park - Game Drive
