  • Day 2 - Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park to Moshi

    Our guide/driver will pick you up from Eileen’s Trees Inn and begin the journey to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for an early game drive. This remarkable park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically situated wildlife destinations, featuring a vast yet shallow soda lake that covers nearly two-thirds of the park, set at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.


    The park’s diverse habitats attract an impressive variety of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and the large flocks of flamingos drawn to the algae-rich waters of the lake.

    In the afternoon, you will enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site before departing for Moshi town, where your unforgettable African safari adventure comes to an end. You will then be transferred to your hotel or to the airport in Moshi or Kilimanjaro Airport .
