Tarangire National Park is celebrated for its remarkable biodiversity and dramatic landscapes. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse scenery that ranges from seasonal swamps to open savannah plains, all nourished by the winding Tarangire River. During your game drive, you may witness thrilling wildlife moments, such as a lion stalking its prey or leopards resting gracefully in the branches of ancient trees above.

The Serengeti offers one of the most spectacular game-viewing experiences in Africa, renowned for its vast endless plains and extraordinary concentration of wildlife. The park is home to large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles. Predators such as lions, leopards, and other fascinating wildlife are also frequently spotted, making every moment of the journey exciting.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy an unforgettable game drive through the park, exploring its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Midday, you will pause for a scenic picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti, before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

Once again, you will begin the day with an early breakfast before setting off for an exciting game drive at around 6:30 AM, spending approximately 6 to 7 hours exploring the incredible Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, offering exceptional game-viewing opportunities. During your drive, you may spot a wide variety of animals, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. However, the park is most famous for the Great Migration, one of the world’s most extraordinary natural spectacles, featuring around 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeests, and 500,000 antelopes moving across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. This remarkable journey is guided by the seasonal rains, making the migration route and timing unique each year.

In addition to the migrating herds, the Serengeti is home to impressive predators, and you may have the chance to encounter lions, cheetahs, and leopards during your adventure.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a final game drive as you exit the Serengeti, combined with a scenic transfer to your accommodation located near the Ngorongoro Gate, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in preparation for the next day’s adventure.

  • Day 4 - Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha - Zanzibar

Rise and shine with a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM, as today marks the final day of your unforgettable safari adventure. After breakfast, you will depart for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive that will continue until the afternoon.

The highlight of the day is the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact and unflooded volcanic caldera. Measuring approximately 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep, and covering around 300 square kilometers, this extraordinary natural wonder offers one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences in Africa.

During your exploration of the crater floor, you will discover an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large yet shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for attracting flamingos, hippos, and a variety of waterbirds.

Later in the afternoon, after enjoying a picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the park, you will begin your journey back to Arusha Airport for your 5:00 PM flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport at 6:15 PM, our driver will be waiting to warmly welcome you and transfer you back to your hotel, bringing your safari adventure to a perfect close.
