- Day 1 - Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Your exciting adventure begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 AM. You’ll be transferred to the SGR train station where you will board the train for a scenic one-hour journey to Morogoro Town. Upon arrival in Morogoro, you will be driven to Mikumi National Park, where you’ll enjoy on a full-day guided game drive. Mikumi is known for its stunning wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, and various bird species. Your experienced guide will provide insightful information about the park's diverse ecosystems. After a thrilling game drive, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at noon, allowing you to recharge for the afternoon. In the evening, you’ll relax and unwind at Camp Bastian, your comfortable accommodation for the night, where you can enjoy a peaceful rest surrounded by nature.
