  • Day 1 - From Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

    Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a Kilipath African Safaris representative at the airport and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, take some time to relax and refresh as you prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead. Arusha, the vibrant gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, offers the perfect introduction to the country’s incredible landscapes, wildlife, and culture.

  • Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire National

    After breakfast, your Kilipath African Safaris guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-and-a-half-hour journey along well-maintained roads. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is especially famous for its impressive elephant herds, which gather around the river during the dry season. Along the way, keep an eye out for giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, and leopards, while enjoying the park’s remarkable birdlife and ancient baobab trees. After a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park, continue your journey to Karatu, where you will check in to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy the evening.

  • Day 3 - Serengeti national park

    After breakfast, journey through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai community and experience their vibrant traditions and way of life. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing toward the southern Serengeti. As you enter the Serengeti, admire its vast endless plains and abundant wildlife, with the possibility of witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration depending on the season. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the spectacular wilderness before continuing to your comfortable accommodation in the Serengeti for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

  • Day 5 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

    After a hearty breakfast, depart for the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Descend into this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site and explore its remarkable crater floor, where golden grasslands, acacia woodlands, lakes, and swamps provide a haven for abundant wildlife. Home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as more than 500 bird species, the crater also offers an excellent chance to spot the endangered black rhino.
