Tour Features

Rwanda is a beautiful lush green, landlocked country in the heart of Africa, known as "the land of a thousand hills". This destination is rich in flora and fauna and has stunning natural beauty with its scenic rolling hills as far as the eyes can see. The country hosts many rare species of animals including numerous endemic species of birds, Akagera National Park, a great location for safari and Nyungwe, one of the oldest continuously forested locations in the world with its spectacular scenery and primate viewing. And on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes themselves, you can meet and walk amongst a family of endangered mountain gorillas. The pinnacle of wildlife experiences, to spend an hour in the company of a remarkably gentle silverback gorilla is an encounter unlike any other on Earth. Professionally operated activities will take you on a journey to the blue waters of Lake Kivu, down stunning rivers and through the countryside where you will gain a fascinating insight into rural communities.
