- Day 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through its heart and serves as a vital lifeline, especially during the dry season when it becomes an important refuge for wildlife, most notably elephants.
Characterized by massive baobab trees, sweeping plains, and lush riverine corridors, Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds, offering a wild and authentic safari experience. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 recorded species. Other wildlife often seen on game drives includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, and more.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Following a day of adventure, you’ll head straight to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 3 - Northern Serengeti Following the Migration
Early morning, after breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park. Enter Serengeti by noon at Naabi Gate and enjoy a first en-route game drive in Seronera while heading further north following the migration.
The Serengeti is famous for its wildlife, but the annual Great Migration makes it truly special. Every year, huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes cross the plains looking for fresh grass. From late July to September, the migration moves through the Northern Serengeti, where the animals face the dangerous Mara River on their way to the Maasai Mara’s green grasslands. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas follow herds, and large Nile crocodiles wait at river crossings. Many animals do not make it across. The timing of this event changes each year based on rainfall.
Enjoy dinner and spend the night at our handpicked camp in Northern Serengeti.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Heritage Mara Camp (Kogatende)
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included
- Day 4 - Following the Migration - North Serengeti
Morning after breakfast, you will continue with game drives in Northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration reaches its most dramatic phase at the Mara River crossing.
At the river’s edge, thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather, torn between instinct and hesitation. When the first brave animals leap forward, the rest of the herd surges into the crocodile-filled waters. The current is strong, and the Nile crocodiles attack with precision.
On the riverbanks, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas wait, watching for the weakest animals. In the dust and noise of the struggle, you see nature’s raw power, where survival must be earned and is never certain.
After an exciting day, you return to camp, where a warm meal and lantern light greet you. As night falls, the distant calls of predators remind you that the Serengeti is always alive.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Heritage Mara Camp
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included
- Day 5 - North Serengeti - Central Serengeti
Morning, after breakfast, you will head on an en-route game drive through the northern Serengeti, then depart for the central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera Area. The Seronera Valley offers lots of wildlife throughout the year, including carnivores like hyenas, Lions, leopards, and cheetahs, which can often be found on and around these large rocky outcrops, as they offer a great vantage point to look over the plains in search of any prey, as well as ungulates including buffalo, giraffes, hippopotami, impalas, topi, warthogs and zebras.
Have dinner and spend the night at your camp in central Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Accommodation: Tukaone Serengeti Camp
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included
- Day 6 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you’ll head out to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will enjoy an en route game drive as we continue towards the Ngorongoro Crater.
Starting at about 2,286 meters above sea level, you’ll descend roughly 610 meters to reach the crater floor, which sits at around 1,600 meters. This huge caldera, once an active volcano, now covers about 304 square kilometers and spans nearly 19 kilometers.
Ngorongoro Crater is often called one of the world’s wonders. As Professor Bernard Grzimek wrote, "There is nothing to compare it with; it is one of the most extraordinary wonders of the world."
Over 30,000 animals live here all year. This is one of the few places in Africa where you might see all of the "Big Five" together, as well as ostriches, hippos, hyenas, warthogs, flamingos, and zebras. Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the best places in the world to spot the endangered black rhino in the wild. The only animal you won’t find here is the giraffe.
After a full day of spotting wildlife, you’ll return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and a restful night.
Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Accommodation: Eileens Tree Inn
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included
- Day 7 - Lake Manyara National Park - Departure
After breakfast in the morning, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This remarkable park is nestled between the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley and the sparkling soda lake that gives the park its name.
Though relatively small, Lake Manyara National Park boasts an impressive diversity of landscapes, from lush groundwater forests to open acacia woodlands. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and captivating sight, as well as large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and an astonishing variety of birdlife. Flocks of flamingos periodically blanket the lakeshore in soft pink hues, adding to the park’s enchanting atmosphere.
After enjoying a picnic lunch and an extensive game drive, we depart to Arusha and straight to Kilimanjaro airport, arriving in time for your departure flight. This marks the end of our epic adventure.
