After an early breakfast, your private safari guide will pick you up for the trip to Sinya in western Kilimanjaro. This private concession spans roughly 600 square kilometers and borders Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. Sinya offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Ol Doinyo Longido, and Ol Doinyo Orok, along with a unique mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences.
One special thing about Sinya is how few Maasai “bomas” are spread across the area; only about 2,000 people live in this large region. The Maasai here still follow their traditional way of life and have not been affected much by commercial tourism. Dressed in colorful clothing and practicing their age-old ceremonies, they give visitors a genuine cultural experience. The Community Conservation Project in the area helps support the Maasai people of Sinya.
While you are here, you can go on game drives, take walking safaris with Maasai warriors, and meet the local Maasai. Sometimes, you may even get to join in their traditional ceremonies if they are happening.

Continue your ascent towards the breathtaking Shira Plateau, a 500,000-year-old volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sitting at around 3,600 meters. Here, enjoy your packed lunch while taking in spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, including the iconic Kibo Peak and its glaciers.
After exploring the plateau, begin your descent back to Londorossi Gate, where your driver will transfer you to Kambi ya Tembo Camp, ending your memorable Kilimanjaro hiking experience.

The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 recorded species. Other wildlife often seen on game drives includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, and more.

The Silale Swamps attract hundreds of elephants who come to feed on the lush grass, but it is not just the elephants that come here. A mix of animals in all shapes and sizes can be spotted at Silale Swamps – including cats! It is a great place to see the famous tree-climbing lions of Tarangire as well as leopards. To add to the collection, the Silale Swamps are also known as a great place to see huge African Rock Pythons.
After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we head to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

- Day 6 - Depart to Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. Every year, vast herds of herbivores migrate for about 800 kilometers in search of water and food.
The park is one of Africa’s most important protected areas and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for over forty years. Its ecosystem supports more than 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, gazelles, and impalas, along with over 2,700 lions, 1,000 leopards, 500 cheetahs, and large groups of elephants, giraffes, and ostriches.

You can often see carnivores like hyenas, lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the park’s rocky outcrops, where they watch for prey on the plains. After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive through the iconic plains of the Serengeti as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival, embark on a guided hike along the scenic Ngorongoro Crater rim, one of the region’s most rewarding and lesser-visited experiences.
The trail winds through lush montane forest, colorful wildflowers, and unique highland vegetation, offering opportunities to spot beautiful birdlife, including olive sunbirds, cinnamon-chested bee-eaters, and European rollers. Along the way, you may encounter wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and elephants, accompanied by an experienced guide and armed ranger.
The highlight is the breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater, offering unforgettable scenery and incredible photo opportunities.
After the hike, continue to your accommodation on the Crater rim. Arrive in the late afternoon to relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight at one of our carefully selected lodges or camps.

Starting at about 2,286 meters above sea level, you’ll descend roughly 610 meters to reach the crater floor, which sits at around 1,600 meters. This huge caldera, once an active volcano, now covers about 304 square kilometers and spans nearly 19 kilometers.
Ngorongoro Crater is often called one of the world’s wonders. As Professor Bernard Grzimek wrote, "There is nothing to compare it with; it is one of the most extraordinary wonders of the world."
More than 30,000 animals live here year-round. This is one of the few places in Africa where you might see all of the "Big Five" together, as well as ostriches, hippos, hyenas, warthogs, flamingos, and zebras. Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the best places in the world to spot the endangered black rhino in the wild. The only animal you won’t find here is the giraffe.
After a full day of spotting wildlife, you head for your accommodation for a relaxing dinner and a restful night.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and captivating sight, as well as large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and an astonishing variety of birdlife. I didn’t know what to expect since I was traveling with young children; we left everything to our consultant, Justice, who recommended the best route for us and the best accommodations where the kids enjoyed themselves too. Our guide Fred was exceptional; he made the trip easier. He was well informed and knew a lot about the animals, the location, and the culture as well. We couldn’t ask for a better trip than this. Would definitely recommend them; if you can ask for Fred to be your guide, you will not regret it.
