- Day 1 - Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart from Arusha for the Serengeti, the world’s most famous national park. The drive, though long, is spectacular. You’ll ascend the crater highlands, pausing briefly at the rim for an unforgettable view of the Ngorongoro Crater—an awe-inspiring sight, especially for first-time visitors.
As you journey deeper into the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name means “endless plains” in the local language. Spanning 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), the plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your sense of distance. The park is home to the great migration, with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and numerous antelope species, including abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. For big cat and predator enthusiasts, the Serengeti is the prime location to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

- Day 2 - Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highland
We recommend an early wake-up today for a morning game drive, when the animals are most active, and to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises you’ll ever see.
After the game drive, return to the camp for a rewarding brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. This crater spans 102 square miles and has 2,000-foot-high walls, making it a natural Noah’s Ark that hosts nearly every species of wildlife indigenious to East Africa. It is one of the few places on the continent where you can see black rhinos. The crater boasts the highest concentration of African wildlife, including a river, several swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also renowned for its elephants, the largest in the world, known for their enormous tusks due to the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses.

Following the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the picturesque Hippo Lake. After lunch, there will be time for a short game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading back towards Arusha.
