From Tarangire, the road climbs to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater — a collapsed volcano that became its own world. Below, lions rest on short grass, a black rhino moves alone through the acacia, and flamingos turn the soda lake pink. It is a place that feels like the beginning of time. Then the plains open up. Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha in the morning. Upon arrival, meet your dedicated safari guide and embark on a scenic drive to the legendary Tarangire National Park, famously celebrated for its ancient giant baobab trees and one of Africa's largest and most breathtaking elephant herds. Enjoy a magnificent full-day game drive with a delightful picnic lunch served inside the park, surrounded by nature at its most raw and spectacular.
