  • Day 1 - Elephant Kingdom

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and sweeping savannahs. As you enter the park, begin your first game drive—watch for elephants dust-bathing, lions resting in the shade, and graceful giraffes browsing treetops. The Tarangire River draws wildlife, creating excellent viewing opportunities. Birdlife is also abundant, with colorful species flitting through the trees and marshes. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot overlooking the river. In the afternoon, continue your drive through different habitats, possibly spotting lions along the way. By late afternoon, exit the park and head to your lodge, where dinner and a peaceful night under the stars await.

  • Day 2 - Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon reaching the crater rim, you’ll descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera—a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Within this lush, self-contained ecosystem, spot lions, elephants, hyenas, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. The crater offers an exceptional chance to see the Big Five in a single day due to its dense wildlife population. The views are stunning: green plains stretch beneath steep walls, and a soda lake shimmers in the distance. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. In the afternoon, continue your game drive before climbing back up to the rim. You'll return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and a second overnight stay, filled with stories from one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife spots.

The park offers a striking mix of environments, from jungle-like forests to open plains and hot springs. Begin your game drive under a dense canopy where baboons, blue monkeys, and elephants are commonly seen. As the landscape opens, you may spot giraffes, hippos, and perhaps a lion lounging in the trees. Birdwatchers will be thrilled by the park’s bird species. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch, continue exploring the park before exiting in the early afternoon. You’ll then drive to your lodge for the night.

Surrounded by lush rainforest and local farms, the hike offers beautiful views and a chance to connect with nature. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, visit a local Chagga village for an authentic coffee experience—learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and roasted, then enjoy a freshly brewed cup made the traditional way.

Following the coffee tour, enjoy a hearty local lunch served by the welcoming Chagga hosts. Then, head to the crystal-clear waters of the Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden geothermal oasis in the middle of a dry landscape.
