- Day 1 - Zanzibar-Serengeti National park
Today, you will be transferred from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional safari guide and begin your first game drive through the vast Serengeti plains.
Enjoy the incredible scenery and abundant wildlife as you explore one of Africa’s most iconic destinations.
Overnight: Tukaone Serengeti Camps
The Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s last great wildlife sanctuaries, home to an estimated three million large animals, most of which participate in the Great Migration—one of nature’s most spectacular events. Covering 14,763 square kilometers, the Serengeti’s name originates from the Maasai word "Siringet," meaning “endless plains.”
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Tukaone Serengeti Camp
Meals & Drinks: Lunch, Dinner Included with Drinks
- Day 2 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park, exploring the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes of this world-renowned reserve. Later, after lunch, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp.
The Central Serengeti offers exceptional game viewing throughout the year due to its high concentration of resident wildlife. The Seronera River Valley, located in this region, is one of the park’s most famous areas and a “must-see” on every safari, regardless of the time of year.
During the dry season (June to November), game viewing is at its peak, as animals gather around the remaining water sources. Resident herbivores include impalas, buffalos, hippos, warthogs, topis, hartebeests, and giraffes, while resident predators such as lions and leopards are often spotted in the area.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp
Meals & Drinks: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included with Drinks
- Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater game drive. Often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth. Formed over two million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed inward, the crater now forms a natural sanctuary with towering 600-meter walls and a diameter of over 19 kilometers.
Within this unique ecosystem, you’ll find diverse landscapes — from acacia woodlands and hippo-filled swamps to open grasslands — that sustain a wide variety of wildlife. The crater is home to more than 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros, as well as abundant predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas.
Later in the day, you will drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
