You will meet the “polers” (boat guides) who will guide your mokoro down the Delta. Normally the mokoro transfer to the islands takes about an hour depending on which island is on schedule and camp. Upon arrival, the staff will set up your camp and you can relax around camp with your good book and pair of binoculars. Return to camp for dinner and a cozy evening in your comfortable canvas tent. Wake up in the morning with tea/coffee before going for a boat ride to experience the combination of reed-fringed waters, grasslands, and light woodlands make for game viewing that can feel like a BBC wildlife documentary brought to life. Not surprisingly, the island is home to some animals and birds. Return back to the camp where lunch is served, you will rest for about two hours before the sunset cruise.
