Arrival and registration: Upon arrival at the park gate, you'll complete the necessary registration procedures and your driver guide will provide a brief overview of the park. Morning game drive: Begin your game drive in the park. Lake Manyara is known for its diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. The park's varied habitats, from the lake itself to forests and grasslands, make for exciting game viewing. Midday: Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park. Many of these sites offer stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. Afternoon: Afternoon game drive: Continue your game drive, focusing on areas you may have missed in the morning. Your driver guide will use their knowledge of the park and animal behaviour to help you spot wildlife. Optional activities: Depending on your interests and time, you might consider adding an activity like a nature walk with an armed ranger or a canopy walk through the forest (these may require pre-booking). Late Afternoon: Departure: Begin your drive back to Arusha reflecting on the day's wildlife encounters.
