The 3 Days gorilla tracking safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking in Uganda. Bwindi is home to half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. The park has 20 habituated gorilla families with a population of 459 mountain gorillas as of December 2018. - Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National ParkThe safari starts with pick up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. You then start the journey to Bwindi National Park located in south western Uganda. The drive to Bwindi is scenic as you have views of the spectacular scenery, kigezi highlands and landscape of Uganda. You will have a stopover for lunch and short breaks to stretch along the way after which you continue with your journey. You will also stop over at the Uganda Equator monument where you can take photos. You will transfer to your lodge where you check in and spend the night. The lodge you will sleep at will depend on the sector of Bwindi where your gorilla trek will happen.

- Day 2 - Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable NPToday morning you will have breakfast at the lodge and then you will be taken to the park headquarters which is the starting point for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. You will receive a briefing from your ranger guide with guidelines on the trek and how to behave around the gorillas. The park guides will lead you through the rain forest in search of these endangered species, once you locate the mountain gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour with them. The gorilla trek is an exciting adventure and watching the gorillas as they feed, move around and play with their young ones is a rewarding experience. You will have an opportunity to capture your great shot of the mountain gorillas and you are advised to turn off your camera flashlight when taking pictures. After this you start the trek back arriving at the lodge for a much needed rest after a long day.

- Day 3 - Travel to Kampala/EntebbeToday you check out of the lodge and travel back to Kampala. On arrival the driver guide will drop you off at the hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back.

Getting There
From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

Travel Requirements
- All foreign visitors need a passport that is valid for at least six months
- Passports must have a clean and a full visa page for endorsement.
- When arriving from a yellow-fever-infected country in Africa or the Americas a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
- Citizens of most countries require a visa. A list of countries that don't need a visa is available.
- Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
- Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
- Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
