    Day Trip Itinerary: Udzungwa Mountains National ParkMorning:

    Early Morning: Departure & Arrival Transport: If you're coming from Dar es Salaam, it’s a 4-5 hour drive to the park. If you're staying nearby, such as in Iringa, the park is around an hour away. You’ll arrive early morning at the park entrance, Kidayi Gate. Inclusions: Transportation: Round-trip transport (either from Dar es Salaam or nearby cities such as Iringa), including entrance fees. Park Fees: Entry fees to Udzungwa Mountains National Park (usually covered in the package). Morning: Rainforest Trekking Trekking the Rainforest Once you arrive, you’ll be briefed on the rules and guidelines of the park. The main activity of the day is a guided rainforest trek to explore the park's biodiversity. There are different trekking options, with the most popular being the Sanje Waterfalls Trek, which takes about 3-4 hours. The trek leads you through dense forest, along beautiful streams, and up to the breathtaking Sanje Waterfalls (the largest in the park) that cascade down the mountainside. Inclusions: Guided Trek: A knowledgeable local guide will accompany you, offering insights into the flora and fauna of the park. They will help you spot the park’s endemic species and explain the unique ecosystem. Sanje Waterfalls Visit: A stop at the waterfalls for some fantastic photo opportunities and a chance to cool off.
