The 7 days Lake Mburo, queen Elizabeth and gorilla trekking safari will expose you to both Uganda’s Forested parts and the Savannah Plains in Bwindi Impenetrable, Lake Mburo National Parks and queen Elizabeth respectively. While in these three parks you will see various wildlife species like the Mountain gorillas, forest elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, zebras in Bwindi and a big number of zebras, topis, Uganda kobs, giraffe.

  • Day 1 - Transfer to lake Mburo National Park
    You will be picked from the Entebbe airport or hotel your guide will drive to Lake Mburo National Park a home to large numbers of antelopes, and other animals like Buchells Zebras, hippos, warthogs, buffaloes, and birds. You will have lunch along the way, later arrive at the park, check in at the lodge and have an evening game drive. Have dinner and Overnight.

  • Day 2 - Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo
    Have breakfast and set out for a game drive you will have a chance to see a big number of zebras, topis, Uganda kobs, giraffes, among others in Lake Mburo. Later go back to the lodge have lunch and, in the afternoon, set out on a boat safari where you will be able to see buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and birds on the shores. There will be a chance to see the birds like, saddle bill stork, Abyssinian ground hornbills and others after go back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 3 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
    In the morning on this day you will have breakfast and therefore after transfer and drive to the South-western part of Uganda to Bwindi. This journey will be incredible as you will be seeing various things on the way such as banana and coffee plantations, long horned cattle, rolling hills. You will have a stop in Mbarara town for lunch after which you will embark on the road through the terraced Kigezi highlands, later arrive at Bwindi impenetrable National Park which hosts a rich ecosystem of different living organisms which you will be viewing the next day. Enjoy Dinner and Overnight.

  • Day 4 - Gorilla trekking and Batwa
    Start your day with a tasty breakfast and make sure you carry packed lunch from the lodge. Your guide will take you to the information centre for briefing where you will meet with other trekkers before you start trekking at 8:00am. After briefing, enter the mighty Bwindi forest as led by the Park rangers, who will take you to where the Gorillas can be located at that time. The activity takes around 2 to 8 hours. Also remember that no skill is needed to track gorillas though one needs to be fit enough at least. There is nothing as astonishing and thrilling as watching the silverbacks guard their bases, watch the females feed young ones, play, and grumble at each other among other things, you will take enough photos. Return to the lodge after, in the evening if time is available you could also have a walk in the Batwa community and see how they live. After have dinner and overnight.

  • Day 5 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
    After breakfast, you will transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector later later have lunch and dinner as you prepare for the next day. In the southern section of this park, the Lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees whereas the Uganda Kob (which are the major food to these lions) graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.

  • Day 6 - Game drive and Boat Cruise at The Kazinga Channel
    After breakfast, go for game drive on different trails in the park including Kasenyi trail. Along the Kasenyi trail there is a great opportunity of seeing various animals like lions, water bucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs as well as various birds. After the drive, go back to your lodge for lunch. Later during the afternoon, you will take pleasure in cruising on Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. While on the boat you will see Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants among others and also a collection of birds like the malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, African fish eagle on the banks and in trees. Have Dinner and an Overnight stay.

  • Day 7 - Departure for Kampala
    After breakfast, you will set off to Kampala, have a stopover for the equator experiment by standing your foot in the either side of the Northern and Southern hemisphere. Embark on the vehicle and continue to the airport.

From outside East Africa, Uganda can be easily accessed either by road or Air and mostly by Air to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Water transport can also be used to travel in and around our destinations especially the ferry crossing from the Southern part of Murchison Falls National Park to the Northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Flights to Uganda are cheapest during the rainy seasons from March to May and October to November. The best wildlife viewing months are June to September and December to February, when flights are likely to be more expensive.

  • Visas are best obtained in advance through an official online visa-application portal (https://visas.immigration.go.ug/), but they can also be obtained through your local Tanzania Embassy or High Commission.
  • Visas can also be obtained on arrival but this is a lengthy process that can take one to two hours.
  • Tourist visas are available for Uganda only, or East Africa (which covers entry to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda) for the same cost.
