  • Day 1 - ARRIVAL/ PICK UP DAY (MAUN)
    Arrival at Maun Airport (MUB). Clients will be met by a representative at Maun Airport and you will be transferred to a lodge for your overnight. Briefing of the trip will be done before parting ways to be picked up the following morning. Relax in the lodge. Later in the evening dinner will be served. This will be at client's own expense.

  • Day 2 - Moremi Game Reserve
    Early morning after breakfast you will be picked up at the lodge by a guide starting the trip to Moremi Game Reserve, South Gate, which is about a three hours drive from Maun. Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the central and eastern part of the Okavango. The reserve is widely considered as the finest wildlife reserve in Africa with a diversity of habitants combining acacia and mopane woodlands with floodplains and lagoons. The reserve is spectacular for game viewing and bird watching which includes all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species and over 4000 species of birds. On our way to Moremi Game Reserve game drive will start. After lunch, game drive continues and before dark you will be taken back to the campsite where you will have time to refresh, have dinner, and spend a night under a canvas tent.

  • Day 3 - Moremi Game Reserve
    Wake up at around 06:00 for a light breakfast and then off to a game drive. Our guide will take you to the park’s most beautiful areas such as Third Bridge, Bodumatau and Dead Tree Island. Sightings include elephant, buffalo, giraffe ,lion, hyena, jackal and many different antelopes including red lechwe and the shy sitatunga, a web-footed antelope perfectly adapted to life in the swamps. Wild dog, whose numbers are so rapidly dwindling elsewhere, are regularly sighted in the Moremi Game Reserve. After lunch it will be siesta time up until 1530hrs ,after siesta afternoon game drive start and before dark guests will be taken back to the campsite where they will have time to refresh, have dinner and spend a night under canvas tents.

  • Day 4 - Khwai
    After have breakfast, then you will do a short game drive for about +-3 hours, then come back to the camp and then depart to Khwai at North gate. You will witness amazing wildlife as you drive to Khwai. Arrive at Khwai campsite, have lunch, followed by a siesta. After siesta enjoy high tea and then resume your afternoon game drive. Come back from your afternoon activity, have a shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest. Khwai is situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Chobe National Park on the southwestern part of the park. Khwai has a huge population of impala and tsessebe are found in the area, while in the dry season large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephant, and zebra flock into the reserve from Kalahari in search of food and water. Birds which are found in the reserve include Sacred Ibis and Crested Crane.

  • Day 5 - Khwai
    Wake up call will be at 5:30am, breakfast will served, then a game drive will follow. After the game drive, you will go back to the camp to have lunch and then a siesta. After siesta have high tea, then head off for a afternoon game drive to explore the prime game viewing areas. Come back to your camp at sunset and have shower then dinner follows. After dinner ,sit around the camp fire enjoying the atmosphere.

  • Day 6 - Savuti
    Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, then we leave Khwai and head north to Savuti which is located in the south western area of the Chobe National Park. Pre-packed lunch will be brought along since from entering the Savuti area, you will be doing a game drive. Arrive at Savuti campsite and enjoy your siesta. After siesta you will have high tea and then go for your afternoon game drive. Come back to the camp before dark, have a shower and then dinner follows. After dinner sit around the camp fire and enjoy the fresh breeze. The Savuti area borders the Delta to the west and Chobe National Park to the east and is one of Africa's best-known big game areas. Savuti is a place of enchantment, of beauty, and boasts one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa. It runs a distance of 100 kilometers from the Chobe River, through a gap in the sand ridge, to the Mababe Depression. Falling only approximately 18 meters, this channel brings water from the Chobe to Mababe, creating a small marsh where it enters the depression.

  • Day 7 - Savuti/ Maun Tour Ends
    Wake up call will be at 5:30am, have a breakfast then you will do a short game drive for about +-3 hours, then come back to the camp and you will depart Savuti to Maun. A pre-packed lunch will be brought along. END OF SAFARI!!

Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, also known as Gaborone Airport, is the main airport in Botswana. It is located 15 km from Gaborone, the capital.
For travellers, it is more common to fly into Maun Airport (MUB) and Kasana Airport (BBK). When combining a safari in Botswana with a visit to Victoria Falls, it is common to fly into Maun and depart from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport (LVI) in Zambia.
Most visitors to Botswana will have a stopover in South Africa to pick up a direct flight from OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
In most cases, your tour operator will collect you from the airport and will arrange all further transportation.
