    Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, we will start on our safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a distance of 140km (8:30 am - 10:30 am). Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. During this time, thousands of animals like wildebeest, buffalo, and oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. Have lunch and take a late afternoon game-viewing drive, then head to Zion Camp for dinner and overnight.

    Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

    After an early breakfast, we leave at 8:30 am for the 210km drive to Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We have the option to visit Olduvai Gorge, known as the cradle of mankind (the hominids) dating back 2 million years. The game drive takes us to the vast Serengeti plains, home of the big game animals, the predators, the great migration and the Nile crocodiles. At 6:30 pm (sunset), we drive to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight.

    Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, we go on a morning and afternoon game drive in the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with game viewing to the northeast of the park.     Early in the morning after breakfast, we go on a morning and afternoon game drive in the migration point area to see the crossing again. In the afternoon, you will continue with game viewing to the northeast of the park. This is the Lobo Area where you will have dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Lobo campsite.

    Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast, depart from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti, then head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with a packed lunch and an en-route game viewing drive toward your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Simba campsite.

    Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

    Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Other animals that also reside here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, drive back to Arusha.
