Your adventure begins with a transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park The drive to Mikumi National Park takes approximately 4-5 hours, offering glimpses of rural Tanzanian life. Upon entering Mikumi, the vast Mkata Floodplain unfolds, a classic African savannah dotted with acacia trees. Check into your chosen lodge or tented camp, allowing time to settle in.
